Q:How long do we have to be in Cyprus before we can marry?

Q:What are the charges for a ceremony on board?
|
| A:We do not charge you for a ceremony on board however you will have to pay the appropriate persons as below
You have a choice of 4 different wedding ceremonies
1. Civil ceremony is performed by the town hall. The charges are 282 Euros for the marriage license fee and 350 call out charge. This is for the town hall officials to come on board to perform the ceremony. This is paid in CASH ONLY when you arrive
2. Anglican Church wedding is performed by the church. The charges are 282 Euros for the marriage license and 650 Euros for the church. A deposit is required for the church of 325 Euros when you book
3. Catholic Church wedding is performed by the church. The charges are 282 Euros for the marriage license and 600 Euros for the church. A deposit is required for the church of 300 Euros when you book. Catholic Church weddings also have to have a ceremony in the town hall first.
4. Renewal of Vows. This ceremony is performed by a church member. The charge for this is 280 Euros |

Q:Is the ceremony in Greek?
|
| A:No Cyprus is English Law. Everything is in English including the paperwork and ceremony. You are asked to repeat after me as in the UK by English speaking officials. You will be asked to sign 3 copies of your marriage certificate (bride signs in old name) of which you will be given one copy at the ceremony. You do not have to get it translated when you arrive home unlike most countries |

Q:What time do we arrive to the yacht if the ceremony is on board?

| A:30 minutes before the ceremony the groom best man and quests will arrive to wait for the bride this 30 minutes is FREE and your package time starts when the bride arrives |

Extras on board
|
Q:Can we as family and friends book extras for the Bride & Groom?
|
| A:Yes you can email us or phone us to book and pay. Just advise us you do not want the couple to know as it is a wedding present. We love secrets. |

Q:Do you provide entertainment on the yachts?
|
| A:Yes we can provide anything from Scottish piper, Cyprus dancers, Children’s Entertainer, DJ with Karaoke, Belly Dancer to Professional Singer |

Q:Can you arrange fresh flowers for the yacht?
|
| A:Yes we can arrange table decoration in any flowers at an extra charge |

Q:What are GERBS?
|
| A:Gerbs are stage fire works. You would have them at the end of the night on either side of the red carpet for you both to walk through. Again a great if you do not tell the guests. A big WOW to the end of the night |

Q:Do you change your special offers often
|
| A:Yes we change our special offers every month. Just check our website once a month for the details |

Q:Do you meet us when we arrive?
|
| A:Yes we will make an appointment to visit you in your hotel. This is to finalise the plans for your very special day. |

Q:Do you have different colored balloons?
|
| A:Yes we will match (to the nearest shade) you colour scheme. When we meet you we will have swatches of colours for you to choose from. |

Q:Can we have candles?
|
| A:Yes we can provide candles and flowers floating in bowls of water. We can also have candles in glass holders. Again this is for fire safety on the yacht |

Q:Can the fireworks be fired from the yacht?
|
| A:Yes the fireworks are fired from the platform at the back of the yacht. The bride and groom may light the last two rockets. The price includes a fire office and government license also great if you do not tell the guests. A big WOW to the end of the night. |

Payments
|
Q:If I have paid my holding fee and I win the competition will I get my money back
|
| A:Yes. If you pay your holding fee of 500 Euros to secure your date and yacht and you win the competition you will receive you holding fee back. |

Q:How do we pay?
|
| A:You can pay over the phone by Credit/Debit card with no extra charges or with a bank transfer but this will incur bank charges and exchange rate charges |

Q:Do you give us a receipt?
|
| A:Yes we scan a copy of the receipt to your email address for your records |

Q:How much is the deposit?
|
| A:We ask for a 500 Euros hold fee to secure the yacht whilst you choose your package. We then ask for the remainder of the 20% deposit minus the holding fee in 60 days |

Q:When do we pay the balance?
|
| A:This can be done in monthly installments FREE of charge of what ever amount each month until the balance is paid great if you wish to book extras OR latest is 30 days prior to your wedding day. |

Q:What currency is it in Cyprus?
|
| A:We are now Euros. This means all our prices are in Euros. The exchange rate is what your bank offers you on the day you make the payment. |

Q:Can I pay with any currency at the bar?
|
| A:No most of our packages has a FREE bar but if you opt for a paying bar you can only use Euros |

The Yacht
|
Q:Can we wear shoes on board?
|
| A:On the Ocean Flyer the Bride Groom Best Man and Bridesmaids may wear shoes for the ceremony and photos. They will then be asked to remove their shoes also All other guests will remove shoes when embarking on board All other vessels flat bottomed shoes are allowed on deck, NO shoes in carpeted areas |

Q:How long can I have the yacht for?

| A:As long as you wish. You choose the package that is right for you from 2 hours up to 6 hours or even extra hours if required. The longest reception on board is 14 hours on board |

Q:Which package do I have to have if I wish to marry on board?
|
| A:You can marry on board with any of our 6 packages. |

Q:Do I have to sail?
|
| A:NO you can have ANY package with no sailing. You can hire the yacht for a PRIVATE wedding reception venue for family and friends |

Q:Which yacht can I have for a yacht wedding?
|
| A:You can have any of our yachts to marry on board depending on the size of the wedding party and location of the yacht |

Q:Do I have to have a yacht wedding?
|
| A:NO you can have the yacht for a wedding reception or private party after your ceremony. In Cyprus you can have a church wedding or civil ceremony in the town hall, museum or hotel |

Q:Can you arrange transport?
|
| A:Yes we can arrange transport from the yachts. Some of our packages include transport but if the package does not we can arrange for you on asking. Usually your wedding coordinator will arrange getting you to the yacht |

Q:Are there always crew on board?
|
| A:Yes we always have crew on board who are very discrete but will always serve you that last drink under the stars. |

Q:What happens if we book the honeymoon suite for the night?
|
| A:Usually you will arrive approx 23.30hrs if your reception is not on the Ocean Flyer. You may then stay on board the next day for a cruise (our scheduled cruise with paying guests) to a bay for swimming with food and unlimited drinks until 14.00hrs |

Q:Are you as yacht wedding organizer there on the yacht throughout the duration of the package?

| A:NO we are there for approx 1 hour before you start your cruise. You are then in the hands of the fully professional and qualified wedding crew. Although there are occasions that we come back to see you later in the evening. |
